    The Spark

    Motive was tasked with creating a memorable Gala Awards Dinner for Noel Leeming, celebrating their top performers and reinforcing the strength of the brand. The goal was to deliver a high-energy, premium experience for 420 guests that combined recognition, entertainment, and charity elements, ensuring the night felt truly special for both winners and attendees.

    The Motive

    Motive designed a vibrant, immersive evening centred on Noel Leeming’s iconic red branding. The program included an opening act by a live singer, MC Mike McRoberts, a traditional Māori performance, and the presentation of numerous annual awards the pinnacle of the company’s calendar.

    A charity auction was integrated seamlessly to engage guests and give back, while the evening culminated with the celebratory Jukebox Band, keeping the dance floor alive. Every detail from lighting and AV to theming and flow was curated to wow the client and deliver a cohesive, unforgettable experience.

    The Moment

    The Gala was a resounding success, with guests inspired, entertained, and fully engaged throughout the evening. The mix of brand-aligned design, cultural performance, entertainment, and charitable giving created a night that was both meaningful and celebratory.

    The client was delighted with every element, and the event reinforced Noel Leeming’s brand while providing a memorable experience for winners, staff, and partners alike.
